Andy Lim, owner of Darling Publications, teamed up with photographer Søren Jonesen to document a 299 year old Stradivarius with a Phase One IQ280 digital back.
Andy Lim, owner of Darling Publications, has dedicated a major part of his life to celebrate contemporary art and outstanding musical instruments done so through exclusive publications dedicated to these works of beauty. Andy couldn’t believe his luck when he discovered that there was a 299 year old Stradivarius in Denmark that was virtually unknown to the public.
For Andy Lim there is no room for compromise when it comes to quality. So when he set off to Denmark to capture Yoldi-Moldenhauer, the violin crafted by Antonio Stradivari 299 years ago, he teamed up with still life photographer Søren Jonesen to photograph the Stradivarius with a Phase One IQ280 digital back.
The entire shoot was carried out with meticulous attention to detail using an IQ280 back mounted to an Arca-Swiss camera system.
